It also highlighted Cabrillo for going above and beyond to implement green initiatives beyond those required through various funding sources.
Azahar Place, Cabrillo’s property in Ventura, was one of the first residential projects in the country that received LEED for Homes platinum designation. LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a green home certification program that rewards homes that are designed and built to be energy and resource efficient.
