The Jewett project, located on the Easterly Terminus of Ralston Street & Northerly Terminus of Beaver Street in Ventura, will be a multifamily development of 14 buildings on Ventura Unified School District property dedicated towards VUSD’s educators and workforce housing. The project will consist of 155 one-,two-,and three-bedroom apartments earning up to 60% area median income.
At the center of the development will be a large landscaped community commons programmed with a children’s play area, a community garden, and a bocce ball court, along with a dedicated teen activity zone equipped with a pickleball court and a half-basketball court. Shaded seating areas, interconnected walking paths, and quieter retreat zones are also incorporated throughout the site.
