Camino de Salud will be a supportive housing development providing 49-units of new affordable housing to an unincorporated area near the City of Ojai. The property will consist of one, three-story elevator building with efficiency units. The building itself is being constructed with corrugated metal and board and batten siding exteriors, mcelroy roofing, aluminum anodized windows and fiberglass doors. Each unit will contain a refrigerator, range, microwave, vinyl flooring, and blinds.
Rents for residents will be for those who qualify between 30 and 60 percent of the Ventura County area median income.
The Camino de Salud community will include a meeting room, common dining room, covered picnic areas, charging station, community garden, laundry facility, limited access gating, perimeter fencing, video surveillance, bike storage and common area Wi-Fi.
