About Our Property
Our Village Senior Project in Buellton is comprised of 50 affordable housing units for households making at or below 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Out of the 50 units, there will be 24 supportive housing units in total. 13 units dedicated to Veterans of which 11 units will have VASH vouchers. In addition, there will be 11 units dedicated to HCD-HHC households with high costs health. Onsite amenities include a community building and kitchen for resident events, a multipurpose room, onsite laundry facilities, onsite parking, electric vehicle charging stations, outdoor courtyards, bike storage, BBQ, and Community Gardens. All residents will have access to free, confidential supportive services.
Who is eligible to live at Village Senior Apartments?
Seniors aged 62 years and older at or below 50% of the area median income for the Santa Barbra County.

What are the income limits?
At the time of applying, your household’s total gross annual income may not exceed the guidelines below. Each unit has different AMI eligibility ranging from 30-50%, depending on how it was funded. When we receive your application, we will help verify your eligibility and match you to an available unit that you qualify for.

Is Section 8 accepted?
Yes! Section 8 is accepted. However, CEDC doesn’t provide Section 8 vouchers. If you don’t currently have a voucher, please visit the https://hasbarco.org/housing/wait_list.php to learn more and enroll.

On Valley Vineyard Circle, adjacent to the intersection of McMurray Road and East Highway 246 (State Highway), in the City of Buellton located in north Santa Barbara County, California.
What are the features of the property?
All units will be equipped with a new refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, window coverings, and vinyl flooring throughout. There will be mobility and sensory accessible units available. Buildings are 2-story with courtyards and gardens. Residents will have uncovered parking and laundry facilities on site. This is a non-smoking property.

Residents will pay for their own electricity (solar). The property will pay for trash, water, and sewer. A utility allowance is provided.
